Arm Lift Surgery

What does it involve?

As time goes by or as a consequence of weight loss, the skin of the internal part of the arm can lose elasticity and sag, creating “bingo wings”. This problem can be solved through the lifting of the internal part of the arm and is generally performed under general anaesthesia. With this procedure we remove the excess of skin, therefore giving a more pleasing shape to the arm. In the less severe cases, the surgery lasts approximately 1 hour and the scar remains within the armpit. In the more severe cases, the procedure lasts approximately 2 hours and the scar is extended towards the inner elbow.

After surgery

Some swelling and a sense of tension is normal in the following 2 or 3 weeks.
