What does it involve?

Scars produced by trauma or previous surgical procedures can be particularly ugly and can be improved. In those scars which are raised and hard, it is possible to treat them with local cortisone injections and those scars which are particularly visible, irregular and de-pressed, can be improved greatly through surgical revision performed under local or general anaesthesia.

After surgery

When very small scars are treated, the recovery period is practically immediate, whereas in larger cases the recovery time varies between 1 and 3 weeks.
