Thigh Lift Surgery

What does it involve?

As we age, or as a consequence of weight loss, the skin of the internal part of the thighs can lose elasticity and sag, creating unsightly folds. With the thigh lift, we remove this excess skin giving back tension to the skin and leaving a scar that is hidden within the groin. Sometimes small liposuction can be performed if necessary at the same time. The surgery is performed under general anaesthesia and lasts about 2 hours.

After surgery

It is possible to have swelling and bruising, but this usually greatly improves after 1 or 2 weeks. The patient needs to take things easy initially, but from the 3rd or 4th week it is possible to resume normal activities.
