Having worked in the fashion industry all my life, exercised daily and eaten healthily, it goes without saying that my appearance has always been important to me. So, imagine my delight 18 months ago when, although due to an emotional crisis, my weight dropped 20 kilos and I had the size 10 figure I'd always hoped for. Unfortunately, one of the side effects of losing so much weight meant that I had a lot of loose skin on my face and neck which was impossible to tone up through exercise.

Still in my 50's, I kept thinking I'd wait until I was 60 and then look into the option of having a facelift. However, as the months went on I realised that I was becoming more and more unhappy with what I could see in the mirror.

I visited a couple of cosmetic surgeons but really wasn't confident with any I met to go ahead. I let another year pass and then contacted a friend who was in the cosmetic surgery business and she told me about Dr Marco Vricella.

I had my first consultation with him and immediately felt comfortable with his warm and professional persona and we arranged the date for my operation around the 3 weeks leave I had booked off from work at Christmas.

I was understandably very nervous on the day of the operation, but Dr Vricella and Louise Truelove, the Patient Co-Ordinator, could not have done more to make me feel relaxed and reassured.

After the operation I went home the next day and could not believe how well I felt and looked. In fact, 10 days later I went back to work for the Christmas Party and received numerous compliments from colleagues saying how fantastic I looked! (I hadn't told anyone at work what I was planning to do, so they were all amazed at the improvement in me).

All through the process I was looked after wonderfully, and the aftercare has been 2nd to none. I can only thank Dr Vricella from the bottom of my heart for giving me back my zest for life and confidence. I would recommend Dr Vricella and his loyal team to anyone considering cosmetic surgery.
