It had been a particularly wet and miserable winter in Gibraltar and southern Spain and the bags under my eyes seemed more pronounced and proud of themselves than I cared to look at. At 44 years old I guessed that they would get worse as time went on despite applying the most expensive creams on the market which, had no effect whatsoever.

I had at this point never considered a cosmetic procedure. A client of mine had recently received some clinical procedures from Dr Marco Vricella, the results of which were very impressive and more importantly natural and not obvious. I was intrigued and asked rather flippantly whether he could sort out the bags under my eyes and was given an emphatic “yes”. I made an appointment at the last minute with Louise Truelove who managed to squeeze me into a demanding schedule. I am now not surprised that Dr Vricella and his team are inundated with appointments.

I arrived at College Clinic in Gibraltar for my free consultation somewhat cautious, unsure and not committed to the idea. All this changed upon meeting Louse Truelove (Head Patient Co-ordinator) and Dr Vricella. The delightful, genial and efficient Louise inspired the immediate impression that I was dealing with a very professional organisation which then made me wonder about price. Dr Marco Vricella is the epitome of knowledge and professionalism in his field. He explained simply and concisely what he could do, how it would work and gave me all the time I needed for me to satisfy myself that I wished to proceed with the operation.

I immediately made an appointment with Louise Truelove and the quotation was far more reasonable than I had imagined. I left without any trepidation or worry.

The care and attention received from then on was thorough, proper and friendly. The ubiquitous Louise seems to work all day every day and into the evening where nothing is too much trouble and replies to my vacuous questions were expeditious, caring and with good humour.

The procedure on the day was conducted without delay, on time and painlessly. I was in and out of the delightful HC International hospital in Marbella within half a day which suited me perfectly.

A week later the stitches were removed and the results were staggeringly good and I was very pleased.

Two months on there are no obvious signs of surgery at all there are no bags under my eyes.

I had not told my family in UK of my procedure and when they recently visited me said that I looked 10 years younger, (coming from my mother that is saying something). When I informed them about the procedure there was a great deal of interest, admiration and an abundance of questions which concluded with them all agreeing that they would like to have this procedure too.

The results speak for themselves and I had not realised until now how the bags under my eyes had sub-consciously affected my confidence. Between Louise, Marco Vricella and the Head Nurse Damien Moore, you could not imagine a more dedicated, professional and charming team that made the whole process a pleasant one.

I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Aria medical group and as well as wishing them continued success and thanking them for what was a superb procedure that has enhanced considerably my enjoyment of life.
